Bloomingdales Credit Card

Bloomingdales, credit card payments make shopping at the retail chain easy. These cards have some special features you should know about, among them, some advantages such as discounts and other benefits.

On the other hand, you should remember that not only one single card model is offered in this commercial chain. Depending on the type chosen, the advantages and benefits may be one or the other. In some cases, it is possible to get some gifts, such as a 15% discount on purchases made during the first two days, with a maximum limit of $ 250 saved.

It is considered a very interesting card when you are a customer of the entity or want to purchase in the store.

What is the Bloomingdales credit card like?

First, we should note that this is not a single card. This retail chain offers different tiers also reflected in different reward levels. That depends on the spending you have done.

Here it is important to note that it does not only refer to one of the sections of Bloomingdales. To compute the total spend, you can combine purchases in the stores face-to-face, the online store, and in the firm’s Outlets.

That means the basic versions of the card are aimed at an average consumer, with low to medium spending in the chain. However, the higher investments are aimed at people with large annual expenditures. There are associated spending limits:

For low levels, from $1 to $3499 annually.

For high spending levels, over $3500 per year.

In addition to the common utilities for this type of financial product, this card also accumulates points. These points can be redeemed for cash on a good part of the products the chain sells, although this bonus cannot be applied to the gift card or services.

One of the interesting features is that the combination of the firm’s different types of merchants and the volume of purchases makes it an attractive shopping card. In addition, there is the option to apply for Bloomingdale’s American Express.

Bloomingdale’s American Express

Instead of the store’s card, it is possible to apply for this credit card. This card offers the possibility of making purchases with the same benefits at the entity’s merchants, but, in addition, on all purchases where the American Express card is accepted.

Therefore, it is a broader product, although it is also a higher-cost card.

It is interesting to note that also, in this case, you can use the points obtained to exchange them for benefits. In this case, you can redeem them through reward cards worth $25 each time 5,000 points are accumulated. These cards cannot be redeemed for cash or used as a means of payment on the account balance at merchants.

Other Bloomingdale’s card benefits

Although the benefits may change over time and depend on certain promotional campaigns, some have remained the same.

One of the most common is the 15% discount on all purchases for the first two days after signing up for the card. This discount has a maximum savings bonus limit of $250. That is a very interesting savings bonus.

On the other hand, the retailer’s card offers some usual perks for this type of product: from free delivery on some products to events where you can double or triple points earned.

Other benefits are unlimited gift wrapping, complimentary storage for leather garments, etc. This last benefit is one of the retail chain’s many connections to the past when fur coat sales shined. The chain still maintains its service of storing customers’ fur coats and luxury pieces in its stores during the summer.

Costs of these cards

In any of its versions, including the American Express, this card has a variable APR of 26.74% with no annual fee. No bonus period fees apply for financing.

As we have already indicated, you can only use the commercial card in the store chain itself, so its advantages are limited to your purchases.

Bloomingdale’s login

It is possible to access your customer area via the Internet. To do so, log in to the web platform and enter your e-mail address and password.

There is a reminder option in case you have forgotten your password. You can also keep the signature constant so that you do not have to enter the data every time you access the platform.

From the same section, it is possible to create an account by following the steps indicated in which you will have to provide the data requested, mainly identification data.
