Different stations are set up around the chapter house, and members crew each station and discuss chapter operations like scholarship, athletics, leadership, social etc. During an open house, the prospective members move in an orderly fashion and are allowed to spend around 15-20 minutes at each station.
During sporting events, the chapter goes to watch live sports events or participate in sports. Sporting events are a fun and perfect way to meet new prospects. The focus of sporting events is to befriend prospective new members.

Show the potential new members what it is like to be a part of the fraternity. Invite the prospective members to join you for intramurals, chapter meetings, and community service. It lets them see the fraternity in action and what it is to be a part of the fraternity.
During an alumni night, you can invite alumni from all generations to allow potential new members to interact with them and know how the fraternity has positively impacted their lives. It will also show potential members that your fraternity is indeed a fraternity for life.

You can organize a bowling event by using frozen turkey as the ball and ten empty bottles of soda partially filled with water in place of bowling pins.
This is the simplest event to organize. You can involve the prospects by getting them behind the grill to dish out some burgers, chickens, hot dogs, etc.

Concerts are a sure shot way to get high numbers. Plan this event if your budget allows you. Moreover, this event should be organized at the end of the rush and invite only those members who have connected well with your fraternity.
Playing is a great way to bond. You can organize different games at the chapter house. Prospective members and Fraters can play and bond throughout the night.
A themed party will let you assess how prospective members behave in a social situation and check if they are a good fit for your fraternity.
You can also organize a formal dinner or dance for prospective members. Formal events can become ceremonial for a Greek Society and is an excellent way to meet rushes.
Exposing the prospective new members to some of the fraternity’s traditions is a nice way to let them know what they will be a part of. The more they know about the fraternity, the better their chances to pledge.
