Internships

Vacation placement programmes are offered in Finance, Investment Banking, IB Risk, Operations, Sales, Trading and Research and Technology. Individual schemes are summarised below.

Finance: 11-week summer placement, covering work across several finance teams and including business presentations, skills’ workshops and interaction with managers across all levels.

IB Risk: Assignments within a specialist IB Risk team focussed on a specific industry segment; initial two-week training covering Investment Banking, Accounting and IB Risk.

Investment Banking: 12-week internship programmes conducted during summer, winter, spring and autumn periods, with placements in any one of the following areas: capital markets (debt and equity); leveraged finance; country-specific M&A; securitised products; and pan-European industry sectors.

Operations: Summer and industrial experience schemes, with placements in operational and business support teams working in Investment Banking, Asset Management and Treasury and Securities Services.

Sales, Trading and Research: Six roles offered within Sales, Trading & Research: marketing; research; sales; sales trading; structuring and trading. Placements are offered within the following product groups: credit; emerging markets; commodities; equities; foreign exchange and rates; and exotics and hybrids.
