The best way to find out whether you would enjoy a career at Accenture is to have a go. All of its schemes offer a competitive salary (Boot Camp not included). Most of them are based in London but whichever area you join, you’ll need to be mobile as live project experience could take you around the country.

For all schemes Accenture operates a rolling deadline, which means places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis – so apply early to avoid disappointment. And remember, competition is fierce for all schemes, so put everything you can into your application.

Accenture Technology Solutions Industrial Placement
The12-month Industrial Placement for would-be software engineers combines formal training with practical, hands-on experience in live development environments. There will be scope to work on many different projects, from development to deployment, while building skills in testing, SAP, Oracle, Java/J2EE, C#, BEA Weblogic and more – as well as the chance to gain ICTTech certification. Placements are normally undertaken in the third year of a four-year course.
To join the technology-focused Industrial Placement, you’ll need 240 UCAS points and a predicted 2:1 in computer science, technology, maths, science or an engineering-related degree. An interest in business-focused IT is also essential. Industrial Placements are usually based in London but you must be prepared to travel to take advantage of the placement opportunities.
Consulting Industrial Placements
Discover what it’s like to be a consultant at Accenture by becoming one. The experience starts with a week’s induction in London, then you go straight into working on a live project, somewhere in the UK. As well as business knowledge, you’ll learn about testing software and undertaking research. By the end, you’ll have skills in all the areas you need for a successful career in consulting.
This programme offers 12-month placements for undergraduates and 6-month placements for third-year undergraduates on a four-year course. You must have 340 UCAS points and a predicted 2:1 or equivalent to apply. Applications are now open for the 12-month internship.
Summer Vacation Scheme
If you’re in your penultimate year, you can see what Accenture do - and how - throughout July and August. During your eight-week placement, you’ll find yourself working on live projects anywhere in the UK. Applications are now open.
Boot Camp
We provide a series of intensive team and individual challenges in a 48-hour schedule that has been the proving ground for some of our most impressive talent. If you are one of the chosen few to make it onto this course, you will develop valuable new skill-sets while gaining a unique insight into what we do. Teach First
The Teach First programme allows you to defer the start of your Accenture career for two years so that you can spend time teaching in a secondary school. While adding to your leadership and communication skills, you’ll be making a significant contribution to the community. Please note that before you apply for the ACG, you’ll first need to have your place on Teach First confirmed.
