  • Our target is to create opportunities for up to one million young people by 2020. We’ll do this by supporting young people working alongside schools and colleges preparing them for a successful future.
  • Sky Academy is a set of five initiatives including: Sky Sports Living for Sport, Sky Academy Skills Studios, Sky Academy Careers Lab, Sky Academy Starting Out, and Sky Academy Scholarships. These cover all ages, from primary school right through to those starting their careers. We’ve linked up with educational specialists, and brought role models from across TV, creative industries and sport to help set young people on a path to success.
  • Over the past six years we have achieved all that we set out to do in Acre, a state in north west Brazil. A billion trees are still standing, saving over 3.7 million tonnes of carbon emissions and thousands of people are earning a living in a sustainable way.
  • We have inspired more than 1.7 million people to cycle regularly since 2009 with our Sky Ride programme. This year, we’ve also supported Sir Bradley Wiggins to set up his new team, WIGGINS.
