Bernie Duffy works for the Colin Neighbourhood Partnership, looking after the finances of the organisation. She says, "at one point in my life that I wanted to become a nurse... But I couldn't stand the sight of blood, I'm very squeamish and can't even watch Casualty without hiding behind the cushion!" Bernie applied for a job as a book keeper, but did not expect to get it as she had no experience.
