Penningtons Manches LLP is a leading UK law firm which provides high quality legal advice tailored to both businesses and individuals. We address the specific objectives of each client through our innovative ideas and technical expertise and offer a personal service founded on a strong team ethic.
Today, we’re based in London, Basingstoke, Cambridge, Guildford, Oxford, Reading and San Francisco, with 113 partners and over 600 people in total. Our main areas of practice are dispute resolution, corporate and commercial, real estate, private client and family.
We also have several multi-disciplinary teams concentrating on a variety of industry sectors, including technology, life sciences, education, social housing, retail and international wealth. In these areas, we're acknowledged for our unparalleled market insight.
Penningtons Manches recruits trainees in London, Cambridge, Guildford, Basingstoke/Reading and Oxford, giving you the opportunity to work in or outside of London.
Our broad training across practice areas and disciplines, gives trainees a thorough grounding in the law by spending time in the firm's business services, private individuals and commercial property divisions. Trainees normally work, within their allocated offices, in four six-month seats.
Trainees get immersed in the work and culture of their own office, but come together with the trainees from all offices on a monthly basis and with the whole firm at the firmwide sports and social events.
We know our trainees are happiest and most successful when busy with good quality work. We believe in introducing trainees to challenging cases. We recognise the value of giving trainees responsibility and allowing direct contact with clients with the knowledge that our experienced solicitors are always on hand to give support.
