So this is the perfect place to enjoy the very best training and development - and ongoing opportunities in a company that’s totally committed to investing in you.
Join our two-year Water Network Technician Apprentice programme and you’ll learn everything there is to know about our water network activities. Working under the expert guidance of an experienced mentor, you’ll be one of our front line ambassadors gaining specialised skills and knowledge such as leakage detection, water pipe maintenance, risk assessment and responding appropriately to customer enquiries.
As part of a critical team ensuring we can deliver water to homes and businesses across the region, you’ll benefit from two years’ learning through a mixture of classroom study and on-the-job training, as you work towards your nationally recognised qualification. Once you’ve completed the learning programme, you’ll be credited with a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Water Engineering - with a whole range of opportunities ahead of you.
What do you need right now? You’ll have (or be expecting to achieve in summer 2017) five GCSEs at grade A* to C (including English and Maths) or equivalent, be keen to learn new things, a passion for hands-on work - and natural people skills to work in a team and deliver a professional service in the eyes of your customers.
