Each year, we offer training contracts to around 50 Law and non-law graduates. All start by completing the accelerated Legal Practice Course (LPC), with those from non-law backgrounds gaining a General Diploma in Law (GDL) too. From there, the training contract itself consists of four six-month 'seats', during which time trainees move between different practice areas and gain a rounded understanding of international law. For their second year, they have the chance to apply for an international or client secondment, broadening their outlook further and sharpening their commercial edge - highlighting what it means to be a real Global Game-changer.
Who we are looking for
As a firm, we tackle some of the most complex legal and commercial issues our clients face.So we look to recruit smart, collaborative and determined individuals from all kinds of backgrounds and with all kinds of experience. A strong academic record is important: you should have, or be aiming for, a good 2:1 or above in your degree. You must also be the kind of person who adapts well to new situations, delivers on their promises and has the creativity to take ideas in new directions. Above all, you must be able to work well with others and build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
You will receive comprehensive legal skills training and regular reviews. After qualification, continuous training and development will remain a priority – in fact, you will deepen your professional and business expertise throughout your career with us.
When and how to apply
Applications open on 17 September 2018 for training contracts commencing in February and August 2021.
The application deadline for non-law students and graduates is 31 January 2019. For law students, applications will re-open between 1 June – 31 July 2019.
