The top quality of client service that we provide is recognised by the national awards that we have won. These include ‘UK Law Firm of the Year 2015’ in the British Legal Awards and being the first top 100 law firm to be accredited with ‘Investors in People Gold Standard’.
Our impressive client list reflects the quality of our lawyers. From Hewlett-Packard to Krispy Kreme, and property developers to some of the UK's largest banks, we work with a growing number of the FTSE 250 and some of the world's most exciting businesses.
Over two years, you will receive a quality training contract and development programme, combining technical legal and business skills training. You will complete four six-month placements. One of these could be a secondment to a client’s in-house legal team, providing invaluable insight from the client’s perspective.
Shoosmiths is a full service law firm offering you experience in a variety of areas. These include commercial, corporate, employment, real estate, intellectual property, banking, planning, and dispute resolution. Through our Access Legal consumer brand, we also offer private client, personal injury, medical negligence, and conveyancing.
We offer a friendly, supportive open-plan office environment which means that you will be sitting with your entire team. You can expect to have direct contact with clients and you will draft your own letters and documents from day one.
We are an innovative, ambitious firm with a lack of hierarchy and zero tolerance for arrogance and believe that this makes Shoosmiths a fantastic place to work.
Applications open in December each year. Submit your application online via our website www.shoosmiths.co.uk/graduates by clicking on the Apply Now button.
