Are you looking for your first role in IT, want to learn and earn at the same time, have you thought about an apprenticeship? If so we have a great opportunity for you!

Our in house IT team are now recruiting for an IT Apprentice. We are looking for an individual to train, develop and really invest in. We have some exciting developments coming up for our IT infrastructure, including moving to the cloud. As our IT Apprentice, you will be getting involved in a number of different areas including our IT service desk, network support and infrastructure.

You will start on the IT Service Desk and once your initial apprenticeship is over you will have the option if desired to move into other teams within IT.

The IT Apprenticeship will last for 18 months and includes both on the job training and classroom learning. At the end of your apprenticeship, you will gain a Level 3 IT Infrastructure qualification, lots of hands-on experience and hopefully a permanent job with us!

Our six core values – Ambition, Collaboration, Commitment, Fairness, Quality and Respect - are at the heart of everything we do and help to shape our unique culture. As well as high-quality work and exciting development opportunities, we offer our people a professional, friendly and sociable working environment with a real sense of community.

How to apply

In order to apply you will need to complete an online application form.  When completing this you will be asked to include information such as:

  • Your personal contact details e.g. address, phone number & email address
  • Your school exam results
  • Any work experience you have completed

In addition, there are several longer questions that may take a little longer to fill out.  You may find it useful to prepare answers to these questions in Word, or another programme with a spell check and then copy and paste your answers into the form. You will find some useful tips in the application form to help you complete this section.

Take your time to think about the answers to these questions. When you have finished the form we would advise you to save a copy as you may find it useful to help prepare for an interview. If you have any questions about the form please contact Jenna Hazel (Resourcing Specialist) on 0117 307 6060 or email

We will respond to applicants as soon as possible after the closing date to let you know whether you have been successful for an interview.

Closing date: 12 September 2019
