Each of our Apprentices have their own story and all come from different backgrounds but they all share one thing in common; they've loved their apprenticeship with us. And why wouldn’t they? They are part of an apprenticeship programme which won regional and national awards in 2016 and 2017! They receive unparalleled support, work with excellent lawyers in an innovative team of Paralegals and are offered high quality legal work. We were one of the first law firms to introduce the Paralegal Apprenticeship so we've learned what really works.
Why are we recruiting?
Our first three cohorts have successfully completed their apprenticeships and been promoted into our innovative Paralegal team to continue developing their legal careers. After a positive first year, James, Sophie, Joseph, Rebekah and Abigail have moved into their second year and our very newest cohort, Chloe, Jack & Ben are settling in well since starting their Paralegal Apprenticeship just last September. They're a close bunch who support each other and enjoy mixing not just in work but outside too. So it's easy to see why we're looking forward to welcoming a new cohort of Paralegal Apprentices to join us in September and that's where you come in.

Maybe organising social events or being part of a sports team is more your thing? There really is something for everyone.

What will you actually be doing?
You'll be supporting a high performing team of Paralegals, called the Legal Solutions Centre, in servicing our legal teams based across all of our 8 UK locations. Concerned you may just be doing the admin? Don't be! You'll be expected to do all that our Paralegals do but with added supervision and guidance at the right pace for you. You'll be allocated a Supervisor, who will help you to keep on track with your studies and a mentor, an experienced Paralegal within your team dedicated to you to learn from. You'll experience a broad variety of quality legal training, with exposure to household named clients and cutting edge work, which will help shape the direction of your legal career whether that is as a Solicitor one day or into another area of the firm.
