A Joiner is an essential component of the modular office production process. A Joiner within the production facility will install and fabricate items such as kitchens and cubicles.
The Laing O'Rourke Apprenticeship programme - what can you expect?
This apprenticeship will provide the necessary skills to fabricate, set out and install joinery related items using a range of materials and proprietary systems in the production facility environment. On-site training and experience will be complemented by an extensive construction college apprenticeship programme that will lead to you becoming a competent Joiner.
As a Laing O'Rourke apprentice you will work through a structured programme that will take between two and four years depending on your apprenticeship choice. The programme will combine practical onsite experience and academic learning at college.
As part of the Apprenticeship programme, you will be expected to achieve a level 2 or 3 apprenticeship standard. You will attend college on either a block or day release format, depending on the college you are assigned to.
Your apprenticeship journey will be supported by experienced trades people and construction professionals that will work closely with you, providing regular feedback on your progress towards completing your apprenticeship.
