As a Royal Air Force Regiment Officer, you’ll perform a pivotal role: providing combat support to deployed air operations anywhere in the world – fighting on the ground to ensure control of the air.
Once fully trained, you will have the ability to evaluate tactical situations, formulate a plan and use strong leadership skills to command your Flight of Gunners in support of air operations. By using your skills, you will be able to conduct missions supporting peacekeeping, counter-terrorism and UK operations during conflicts. As a Royal Air Force Regiment Officer, you will need to inspire and lead your personnel to draw the best from them under demanding situations to ensure the protection and safety of aircraft, personnel and bases. -Be aged 17.5 -36
-GCSE grade C/4-5 in English language, Maths and at least three other subjects
-At least 2 A2 levels at grade C or above/ UK degree at Grade 2:2 or higher
-Health requirements: BMI and Eye sight checks
-Fitness requirements: 2.4Km run, Multi-Stage Fitness Test, press-up and sit-ups and Battle Scenario Combat Test.
