We are currently recruiting for solicitor apprentices to join our Manchester, London & Guildford offices in August 2020 and complete an LLB (law degree) in legal practice & skills. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified lawyer. 

Key responsibilities: 

•Office administration, including billing and writing letters 

•Organise diaries, schedule meetings and respond to telephone queries 

•Write first document drafts and proofread documents 

•Analyse and input data, write articles for internal or external circulation 

•Organise case files, attend court inquests, transcribe legal opinion and compile litigation bundles 

•Network with clients and build relationships 

From year three of the apprenticeship you would progress to more trainee-level tasks such as: 

•Legal research 

•Drafting documents as part of transactions and litigation, including facility agreements, witness statements and pleadings 

•Communicating and meeting with clients 

•Attending hearings and trials, taking notes where necessary 

•Filing and serving documentation at Court and on the other side 

•Document review 

•Bundling documents in preparation for trial
