Hill Dickinson is a leading and award-winning international commercial law firm with more than 840 people, including 175 partners and legal directors. From offices in the UK, mainland Europe and Asia, the firm delivers advice and strategic guidance spanning the full legal spectrum. The firm acts as a trusted adviser to businesses, organisations and individuals across the globe from a wide range of market sectors, advising on non-contentious advisory and transactional work through to all forms of commercial litigation and arbitration.
Hill Dickinson prides itself on fostering the strongest client relationships and adding value through innovation.
Hill Dickinson recruits to retain, so for 2021 they’re taking on up to ten trainees – meaning they have the resources and time to give each trainee as much support as they need. The firm gives immediate responsibilities to trainees: the small intake means there is lots of interesting work to go around and challenges right from the start. Trainees will work four seats from a variety of different areas of law, as well as sharing an office with a partner to help them develop legal knowledge and offer support.
Trainees also have a mentor (a Hill Dickinson solicitor) who will be on hand from day one and throughout the training contract to offer advice, guidance and support. Trainees work really hard and as you’d expect, it’s not all fun and games. But when they do let their hair down, they get together and do it properly! The firm organizes events and competitions throughout the year and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in our corporate responsibility activity, too.
