What is the best university for engineering? Do I have to specialise straight away? Like choose mechanical or electrica engineering? Or are there general engineering courses?

Tina, you don't have to specialise in engineering right from first year. You can start as general engineer and move to other fields. Industrial wise, I would say Cranfield, Stratchlyde, Imperial, Aston, Brunel, RGU (Scotland) are some of the big names industrially. Just a note of advice, if you are paying £9000 fees, you should look into a university that has a sandwich pattern course. That way you can do a placement year after second year, which improves your chances of being better off later. Are you looking for masters or bachelors ? Goodluck. -Faiz.
