How do you get into race car engineering? After seeing F1 and Senna, it looks pretty wicked. What kind of qualifications do i need?

A degree in mechanical engineering is a good start and doing everything to specialise in automotive engineering. Definitely, get some work experience in the automotive engineering industry. Don't expect to land yourself a race car engineering job straight away. You'll probably have to start as a low-level engineering assistant in car company then work your way up. To get to F1 level it'll take years and years of hard work...

Speak your mind…
