How much commission can an entry-level recruitment consultant earn in a year?

Surely, it depends on how good you. You always see adverts saying you can earn up to £70k!

Ha, yeah, pretty much every graduate job site advertises the usual 'EARN £100K AND DRIVE A BMW IN YOUR FIRST YEAR!' type jobs posted by recruitment consultants looking to nab as many grads as possible onto their systems with 'too good to be true' jobs. The only issue is, most people take it for what it is at the start. Having graduated and applied for a stupid amount of jobs, I've learnt the hard way now though!

You can still get a decent amount of commission very early on though. I know quite a few people that went into recruitment consulting as a stop gap but then got addicted to the salary! The issue is they looked at jobs they were really interested in and saw how much their salary dropped
