If I want to get onto a grad scheme with an advertising agency, do I need to get an internship first? Or will a well-written application form be enough to secure me an interview?
You really need to get as much work experience as possible! No matter how well written your application is, you need to prove that you've had experience in the work place and have shown certain skills etc in work based environments. Also, there's always a chance that you might impress so much as your internship that you'll be offered a graduate job...
