The Graduate Programme begins with a five week induction programme, covering a thorough knowledge of CHP products and a focus on building technical expertise.. Upon completion of the induction, trainees are placed within a project team, usually for a client or for CHP’s internal requirements.
Project teams vary in size—as few as four team members or as large as 35—larger teams are further split into smaller sub-groups, each working on a different aspect of the project. Formal training is conducted throughout the programme, with a pre-set curriculum covering technical, software, business and personal management skills.
The initial employment period covers practical experience of the full CHP project lifecycle, beginning with product development. Trainees work at the client site or in the CHP office undertaking software development and understanding the business and financial implications of their role.
Once this initial rotation is complete, trainees move on to other areas such as software design, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, data migration and/or integration, gathering business requirements from clients, and business process re-engineering.
