HI guys, is anyone, like me, applying to the allen & overy vacation scheme? Thought I'd create a thread so we could share our experiences, tips etc. Nearly a month to go until applications close! I'm working on mine right now.
Yup I'm going to give it a crack. Not exactly confident about my chances at all, but I thought it'd be worth a try. I'm applying to DLA Piper, Mayer Brown and various others too. I'm also applying to local law firms just in case I don't get a vac scheme at a big law firm. Ugh, Christmas isn't exactly going to be fun with all this vac scheme stuff.
I know, can't really think of anything worse than filling out endless application forms. Oh well, you've got to be in it to win it!
