Tube Lines Limited is an engineering services company responsible for the rebuilding and maintenance of London’s metro transport system under the Tube for London project, in partnership with the London Underground, which in turn, is a part of the overall Transport for London (TfL) scheme.

The company is responsible for the upgrading and maintenance of three major Tube lines—Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly—the busiest sections of the Tube, covering 255 trains, 100 stations, 320 kilometres of track, 82 lifts and 227 escalators.

The company is headquartered in Canary Wharf and employs around 3,500 people. The operations are run on a 24/7 basis, with a majority of activities being carried out between 12.30–5.00 am, when trains are not running.
