Lane Clark & Peacock is a specialist consultancy firm, offering actuarial, risk management and investment advice, established by Ralph Lane as a solo practice in 1947. The practice became a partnership in 1962 with the name Lane Clark and Peacock.

It currently operates as an LLP with 40% of equity distributed among individual partners and a 60% stake is held by Alexander Forbes, a global employee benefits’ consultancy as a corporate partner.

The firm operates out of two offices in the UK—London and Winchester—and five overseas offices in Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands and Switzerland (Basel and Zurich). The firm employs over 400 people and 80 partners, comprised of around 110 qualified actuaries, 70 actuarial students and around 70 pensions’ administration staff.
