With a legacy dating back to the 1900’s, Arcadia began life as a menswear outlet in Chesterfield started by Montague Burton with a loan of just £100. The present day Arcadia Group came into existence in 1997 and was acquired by Taveta Investments owned by Sir Philip Green and his family in 2002 thus joining the UK’s largest privately owned retail group.

Today Arcadia are a modern, fast-moving business comprising nine of the high streets best-known and most exciting fashion brands, eight online stores and an ever-growing roster of concessions and 537 international franchise outlets spanning over 30 markets across Europe, the Far East and Middle East.

Arcadia employs a staggering 45,000 people across TOPSHOP, TOPMAN, Miss Selfridge, Evans, Wallis, Dorothy Perkins, Burton, BHS and Outfit and by implementing the latest retailing strategies they’re constantly developing their diverse portfolio in order to deliver a premium service to their customers. Little wonder their brands are the envy of the retail world.
