AB Agri stands for Associated British Agriculture (ABA), a subsidiary company focused on agriculture, within the Associated British Foods Plc group (ABF).

ABF is a global conglomerate of companies dealing with food, ingredients, agriculture and retail markets in 44 countries with an employee base of 96,000 people.

AB Agri operates out of 25 locations across the UK, with a workforce of 1,000 people and a growing overseas presence in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.

The company was originally established in 1985 to market beet-based products manufactured by British Sugar under the brand name of Trident Feeds; several restructuring, mergers and acquisitions later, the Agriculture Group of ABF was renamed as AB Agri Limited in March, 2007.

Today, the company operates 15 different businesses, leading UK’s agri-business market through a range of branded and unbranded products and services.
