This post is aimed at the international student community (i.e. non-UK / non-EU students) 

International Students have the opportunity to apply for a Tier 1 Post Study Work Visa (PSW) after they complete their academic course and get the results. It is a 2 year visa and allows you to work in the UK or stay in the UK on certain terms (e.g. you won;t undertake research or academic work). 

The PSW application is 53 page long and costs 600 G.B.Pounds to apply. In this case you want to make sure you have it right and improve your chances of making a successfull application. I have just applied for mine and hence collated all the information in 'lay-man's-language' decoding the Home Office words and finding a word by word guide to help you answer EVERY question on the form courtesy of Careers Service at a UK university.
